At Lew Dog Gives, we believe in full transparency. We're a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit — no salaries, no big overhead. Our only small expenses, like outreach or marketing, are solely to raise awareness and further our mission. Every dollar raised from our cookbook and merchandise goes straight to helping animals in need through grants, direct donations, and hands-on support for rescues, shelters, and sanctuaries.

We start where your heart is — close to home. Whenever we can, we support local rescues, shelters, and sanctuaries in your area, because real change begins in our own communities.

But love knows no borders, and when animals around the world are in crisis, we step in. Whether it’s a shelter struggling to stay open, animals needing urgent medical care, or lives uprooted by natural disasters, we send support where it’s needed most — to the people working tirelessly to care for animals with love, dedication, and heart.

Dogs may be the stars of our cookbook, but the love goes way beyond that. Thanks to your donations — and the extra support from the cookbook and merchandise sales — we’re able to help all kinds of animals, near and far. From shelter pups and kittens waiting for homes, to rescued farm animals, wildlife in need, and animals caught in natural disasters — if they need help, we want to be there. No matter the species, every animal deserves love, safety, and a second chance.

Just tell us who they are, what they do, and why they could use support. Our team carefully reviews each submission as part of our guided giving process.
